Remote control velux blind problems

I have been called to a set of velux blinds not working from the remote. Apparently they have never worked since installed. They are plugged into the electric window motor supply, not batteries, and the window works fine.
I am not sure how they are supposed to work, or how the remote is supposed to connect to it.

Anyone set any of these up before?

I think you have to pair them to the window, you have to switch them off and then turn back on again and then go through the settings on the remote to pair them. I think if you go on their website it should tell you how also.

I would ring velux technical in the absence of any instructions. You can set up multiple windows for one remote, multiple remotes for one window, some have auto close rain sensors etc. Only done it once, years ago, but recall it being slightly tricky.
