Just purchased a 51 Plate Renault Kangoo with no bulkhead neither ply lined. Would like to hear what racking you guys would recommend if you have a racked kangoo or have experienced them before. I will most likely be paying a chippy to install a makeshift racking for me, thanks in advance, Lee.

I would just get a chippy to do it properly! And have a decent bulkhead, if you crash everything from the back will end up in the front. I have seen it first hand almost killed a cousion of mine.

Make sure you get a steel bulkhead! saw one crash and a 6foot digging bar came from the back through the drivers seat and straight through the driver,it doesn't matter what you use for the rest just remember that in a crash everything in the back is a potential body piercing missile so get a STEEL bulkhead!

Yeah the rear axle with labour cost around £400! So a steal really, central locking on key fob not working but not a major issue, Passed MOT with no advisory's so saved myself a lot of money! The steel bulkhead will cost a lot of money, maybe a ply bulkhead with a metal cage maybe more efficient as i dont have a lot of gear in the back anyways (cable, hand tools, drills, steps and minimal materials) Is there any racking storage which would benefit me to the maximum? e.g steps compartment below shelving

I have a sortimo racking system in my traffic, makes such a difference, i have all spares labelled up in trays i can simply pull out, you get much more from your van and don't lose hrs searching for bits in the back
