Hi guys,
Just been talking to my mum, they have bought a new light fixture(not a pull-switch) to replace a pull-switch light they have in their static holiday caravan. I am a student electrician so am always very cautious when asked by people for help, and I have not seen the lighting myself. I hoped you guys might be kind enough to give me advice.
The current light fixture above a bed, has 2 line conductors twisted together, and 2 neutral conductors twisted together, there is also an earth conductor. The conductors go directly into the pull-switch light fixture. They also think the whole lighting in the caravan is one circuit.
My initial concerns are how the light would be switched, and other lights affected downstream.
What would be the easiest way of wiring this new light?
Much appreciated guys, thanks
