Hi all, I am currently undertaking research into electrical cause of fire including distribution systems and appliances. If anybody is willing to share experiences, knowledge and or images showing fire cause, particularly in the early stages of the fault condition I would be most appreciative.

Hi Johng, I may have a few photo's from callouts I've been to over the years mainly when i was doing insurance work where some fire's have started, luckly all have self extinguished, but you still see some on fault callouts so will see what i have. If you PM me your email i will dig some out and send to you.

I take a camera on every job now. It's amazing what you find under the floor boards [but that is a whole new thread!]
