when fitting a dual rcd board 17th edition , what are you supposed to do with an immersion heater circuit as many cause the rcd to trip anyway ?

I don't like using these boards, but if cost is an issue thats what you use, normaly there is space after the main switch to install a couple of RCBO's i would put the immersion on one of these that way if there's a problem it only trips that rcbo

ok thanks, so its another $40.00 + vat for a shrinking market, lets just price ourselves on the dole, thanks agan nic , nappit and all the other main people for making it near immopssible to make a living

No reason for an immersion to tripp an rcd anymore than a kettle, toaster, iron, or the likes. Rcd is just doing its job should a fault occur.
Only time I found issues was when protecting a bank of stand alone computers, to many on a given circuit can cause nuisance tripping, but it was asked for in the spec. The answer was dedicated supplies to each with 20A rcbo's. Expensive but gave the client what he wanted.
