Hi All,
I have a reverse camera that has stopped working, likely cause is one of the yellow male plugs is corroded and the metal on the male has come off. The wiring is similar to the video cable ones you can buy from Amazon, with the yellow male to yellow male with trigger. My question is, can I just replace the yellow male plug in question? Ie. cut the wire upstream from the yellow plug (along with the trigger) then simply join/solder on a new yellow plug with trigger? What is in the yellow male plug wire? Is it relatively easy to do it this way? This saves me from having to replace the whole cable setup under the truck, to the headset, etc.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
G
