Revision to BRE 489

We will doubtless be asked to show our copy of this on our next MCS assessment. It used to be free to download, but not anymore. Online version is £28.40 and paper version £24.00. Having just bought a second hand Leica Disto and spent a lot on software updates, yet more money (a decent pub meals worth) grates a bit.

Has anyone got this yet? Did you feel it was worth the money?

This wasn't mentioned on our recent MCS inspection. (Neither was shading thankfully.) We do have a copy of the original version but not the updated one and the prospect of shelling out for it isn't that appealing.

Just bought it, - definitely worthwhile, as it covers a much wider range of installations and is a far better document.
