Hi

I am currently rewiring an old apartment and have a few questions I need the answers to:

The incoming supply is only a phase and neutral with no earth. I believe this is a tn-c-s supply, do I just link the main earth bar to the main neutral bar in the switchboard?

What is the smallest earth you can run to earth the mains gas? Is 6mm ok or is it a minimum of 10mm?

The gas meter is in a cupboard with the hot water tank, am I allowed to have electrical devices in the cupboard? ie switches, power points and fuse spurs. If so how far away from the gas meter do they have to be?

Cheers

IF your are an electrician you should know the answers to these questions and don't mess with the incoming supply that's the distribution network operator resposibilty

Do you not own a copy of BS7671 or the OSG? to be honest you should know all this.
