Hi
So I'd like a maintained emergency light but without the automatic emergency function to trigger in the event of power failure. In other words I'd like a light connected to the mains that has a battery back up in the event of a power failure but I don't want it to come on automatically. Only for my convenience.
Do you think this would be easy to achieve with a standard maintained emergency light? What kind of rewiring would you anticipate that I would have to do?
Cheers

NB. Thinking about this some more this is potentially quite an obvious fix, but i'd like to hear your thought anyway. Cheers!
