If you are using correctly matched cable, terminal, tool and die set, it'll either be done or you'll know it's not done. A crimp that 'doesn't hold' sounds like something was out of whack.The crimping wasn't holding properly. I was using a hydraulic crimper! But then at the height and position up in a ceiling on a ladder you just could not get the power to really get on it.
Used a proper UG jointing pack, tidied the site up a tad, Used a proper crimp tool, need I go on, or is it get at Pete999 week?What would you have done to improve that joint @Pete999?
