Changed a cu, doing IR test on the ring comes in at 0.28 l-n, l-e is greater than 200.
Disconnected boiler, neons etc, any ideas?

Did you change the CU before testing? what was the IR between N and E? ideas well something still plugged in, TV booster fed from the RFC in the roof space, anyone fitted any shelves plenty more where they came from

Washing machine!
Just spotted it, all good now cheers.

Washing machine! .... you mean that big unit sized lump of metal ... can really understand you missing that one..

If it were a concealed aerial booster or even the ignition on a gas hob then I could understand but a big metal box approx 1m by 0.6m hmmm facepalm! ;)

and just to get totally off subject. here's Misia at 10 days old. just starting to hand feed as she had problems. [ElectriciansForums.net] Ring ir very low
