ring main length/voltdrop?

Hi all,

Quick question, i'm about to start wiring a new build 6 bedder quite a large place, the main boards is one side of the house. i was wondering if anyone off the top of their heads could tell me the max length of a 2.5T+E ring main, before i would need to consider upgrading to a 4mm ring, hope someone can advise, or i`ll have to get me damn books out!!!

I believe it's 100m2

100 square meters is correct as the area that can be served by a ring main, page 44 of the on site guide suggests a linear maximum of 106 meters for 2.5 and 176 meters for 4.0. Hope this helps
