Hi all, just woundering what your preferences are, ring mains or radials in domestic installs?

4mm radials all the way mate

Do you ever run ring mains now?

Unless its just a couple of sockets to be installed I have (like most) installed ring mains. Radials do seem to be getting more popular and as said, it obviously makes testing easier with not doing the figure of 8 etc.

As you have been doing this for a while, what sort of ground rules or general advice can you give to others that may be thinking of doing this?
