Ring Main R1+R2

Hi,

Just a quick question,

Ring Main, ive done end to end on the neutral and line conductor, cant do end to end of the CPC due to the Steel Conduit being used as the CPC, does this mean that i cant do a R1+R2 test due to being unable to do the figure 8?

If the cpc is galv conduit then do an R2 on it. Then simply fill in R2 value on cert.

as he said^^^. or...... measure R1+Rn. divide by 2, then add to R2.

Time to pop out your wander lead and go from socket to socket looking to confirm continuity and look for the highest value
