Yes it complies with the regs. Changed a fuse box and have to do an EIC so on the schedule of test results I was just wondering how to record an existing spur off a ring circuit.

Hawk, not really sure what you are trying to record. you are bound to get odd Zs results when spurs are involved, as long as the ZS is within the max permissible I shouldn't worry

Whilst testing Zs on the ring you get, say, 0.47Ω on each socket on the ring and readings of, say, 0.54Ω, 0.63Ω and 0.59Ω on the, say, three spurs then you would record the Zs of the ring as 0.63Ω, as this is the highest value. Your limit on a B32 is 1.1Ω at ambient so the circuit is fine.
The circuit details are just that details of the entire circuit, not parts of it.

Ok. I have seen on other forums where people have said that say for instance a fused spur is taken off a ring for a lighting circuit. Then they would record the lighting circuit as a seperate circuit with 5amp 1361 as the fuse. Even though it is spurred off a ring.

Your original post didn't mention a fused spur, I think all the replies you have had are under the assumption that the spur you originally asked about was a 13amp socket outlet spurred from the ring final circuit, confusion reigns

To start with, I would mention the situation in the 'comments on the existing installation' section of the report.

The spur should be unswitched, with a 5A fuse also labeled for 5A fuse max. The as for the lighting circuit should then fall within the allowed As for fuse in spur.
