Sad news , The Montana legend has died in a plane crash.
I have watched every episode of Ice road Truckers and he was a Great Trucker and a great part of the show he will be missed and was only 52.
What is sadder is the fact that he was just returning from filmin the pilot episode for a documentary he was making that involved recovering Plane wreckage from crashes.

I don't recall him having only watched a few episodes but RIP anyway. Bloody hard job that. I assume it was a small plane or something then.

Yeah Dan light aircraft, him and co pilot both died, I also got one bit wrong they were on their way to start filming and not returning, He was a great part of the show, never took crap from anybody and I think he held the record for delivering to the furthest location that nobody else would go to.
