Hello, new van new roof rack. I m getting a new van and I am thinking of a new roof rack to match, either steel Rhino Delta 3 or Aluminium Van Guard Ulti. Any thoughts of either. the price isn't too far apart between the 2 I think i would like Aluminium ones this time but not sure how well they will last.

Thanks

I got the van guard on my vw transporter. Much better than the steel tube effort I had on the old Berlingo.

easy enough for a diy fitting.... just need to buy the correct brackets for your van.

Aluminium Van Guard Ulti.

Be aware they are WIDE!! Many standard looking ladder clamps won't fit. You'd need either the Rhino ones...

Or the AutoRack wide version....

I bought a 100mm wide hook type from ladderclamps.co.uk and it is odd!! It pulls tight at a funny angle, not just downward, so avoid this type where the hook is offset from the thread...

I've got rhino bars on this van and had them on my previous van too.

No complaints at all.

Also used the rhino pipe tube. had this one for a few years now.
