Never done a roof vent before and doing a new build atm. will i need to use an inline fan surely a standrad ceiling fan wont have enough power to extract it wil it?? Thanks in advance

It depends on the length of the duct run. Most standard fans are good for 2M ( I think ). If I install in line fans I use the icons, I think they look smart and they are really quiet (though quite costly, ÂŁ30 ish I think). If memory serves me well I think they are good for about 4 M. Has any extraction rates been mentioned in the spec? what room is it going in and what is the size of the room? these are factors that have to be taken into account.
