I've got an excellent roofer. His normal charge is £150 a day but I pay him more "because he's worth it!!"
He nips up on the roof and gets the roof hooks in place while I sort ouit various bits at ground level, start moving the inverter indoors, and so on. If he finds any broken tiles or rotten battening while he's up there he repalces them for the householder, and he always cleans out the gutters when we've finished - added value services which custoemrs appreciate..
Once the hooks are in place we work together getting the rails on, then he brings the panels up and we lay them in together. Once the roof work's finshed he's done and I carry on with the connecting up. He's had several additional jobs from it, pointing chimneys and so on, from happy customers.
And no, you can't have his number - I'm hanging on to him!
