Hi as in the title just after roughly what people are paying and what type of insurance they have if they only carry out work domestic properties.

I'm just looking into carrying out some extra work so don't need tool, van, personal cover etc etc.

Have you looked into this on line first? how much do you want? 1,2 or 5 or more in millions of pounds? I would suggest 2 Million which will be pretty cheap.

ÂŁ130 for ÂŁ5M Public Liability as the insurance companies I get work from and a care home i do the electrics for require it. I have also g0t ÂŁ250k Professional indemnity on the same policy, it only added around ÂŁ15 to the price.
Best thing about it was i got ÂŁ35 cashback for going via quidco (real cost ÂŁ95). So that could be worthwhile for you to look at. Year before last i got ÂŁ80 cashback via axa business insurance so in real terms paid around ÂŁ75.

Another thread where the OP proves he or she is a muppet by no replies, Ban them I say.
