Hi guys, been re-wiring a thatched house this week and pulling out the old rubbers, never paid them any thought but what are the conductors made of? it looks like aluminium is that right?

quality. they don't make it like that any more, for shame. we have to put up with this solid rubbish that bends worse than my old knees.
saying that, id rather use tri rated over standard stranded any day of the week.
except you have to crimp every end off in order to terminate it!
