Running cables underfloor

Am having to run a ring main to an island in the middle of the kitchen and back again, just wondering if there is any regs dictating what needs to be done on this? min depth etc.

Was just going to lay it in PVC conduit in the screed.

Sounds fine mate,that's how i did my last one.Cables a bit tight thou in the 20mm conduit.As long as the cables are protected in the floor

min 50mm deep, or use galv conduit.

Seeing as the sockets should be RCD protected anyway, just chase in 25mm oval conduit as you would in a wall.
