I am to install x 2 13a dp fcu for a salon master water heating system.
Do they need to be on seperate mcbs or is it ok to be on same ring. Do they need to be on RCCB side of board or would this cause nuisance trip problems.
 
I would say that placing them on the same ring final circuit, is ok, as long as you havent got a load more fused-connection-units on the same circuit that you havent mentioned.

And if they are mechanically protected ( e.g. conduit,trunking ), or the cable run is set deeper in the walls than 50mm depth then the answer is NO they don't need RCD protection, otherwise they DO need RCD protection under BS7671...
