Sangamo M5 to Horstmann C27 Problem.

Hi Everyone.


Changing Sangamo M5 timeclock to Horstmann C27.

Horstmann C27 can be used on fully pumped or gravity fed systems.

Image attached, if I attached it correctly haha.


Easy enough.


TERMINAL 8 on Sangamo to TERMINAL 4 on C27 (Heating on)
TERMINAL 1 on Sangamo to TERMINAL 3 on C27 (Hot water on)
TERMINAL 3 on Sangamo to TERMINAL L on C27 (Mains Live)
TERMINAL 4 on Sangamo to TERMINAL N on C27 (Neutral)

RED LINK BETWEEN 1 and 6 non existent anymore.


But look at TERMINAL 1 (flip image, makes it easier), why is there a blue AND red in TERMINAL 1 (hot water on). Should just be one switched live for HW? I think I must be missing something.


Can anyone clarify for me?

By the way, forgot to mention.

Ignore blue tape and three core cable to bottom left (red yellow blue) - wasn't connected to anything.
