Sanyo warranty

I am trying to get written confirmation from Sanyo that if their panels are clipped on the short side, the warranty is void.

I have twice sent emails to Sanyo without any response.

Can anyone please help me to get the answer?

The Sanyo guarantee document, SANYO Component Europe GmbH - Sanyo Solar Photovoltaics-Europe: Home - Guarantees , says that the guarantee is void if the installation is not carried out per the installation guide. The guide which I have but can’t link to shows the location where clips can be used. The locations are along the long side.

Ring them and once you get a name, ask them to confirm response by email asap. Believe if you install Sanyo landscape style you can buy special clips and use with perpendicular rails and warranty is covered. (anecdotal though).
