Is a socket hanging out a wall, barriers and enclosures, functional testing of accesories,
or something else I thinks is the first one but a mates says no if its out the wall it cant be operated normally, just Sunday pub debate

ah, i see. if you are doing a PIR, then a socket hanging off is a code 1. maybe an X in the insulation of live parts, and barriers and enclosures.
