Hi all,

I just can't get my head around what and how you write down on the 'Schedule of Test Results' for a lighting circuit that is being fed from a FCU spurred off of a 32A ring.
Do you test as normal the ring and complete readings in the relevant columns, ie from left to right: type B, 32, 2.5,1.5, etc. etc.
Do you then on the next line fill out the lighting circuit with overcurrent device as say, a BS 1362, 5A, 1.5,1,etc. with a max Zs of 8.35, then fill in the remarks column stating that this circuit is a spur off of the ring? Or do you just test it complete as normal and not bother stating what it is?
If it is done separately, is it easier just to test the lighting circuits Zs or is it best to do a calculation?
I hope this all makes sense!
Mick

you just test the whole thing as a ring mate. its a spur not an individual circuit.

treat the light for what it is, an accessory from a ring circuit, just like security light, a fan etc
