What type of schneider DB, as they have taken over alot of companies recently, so there are several types out there now.
Schneider are strong and very top of the range in industrial and commercial market .... they have a smaller influence on domestic but as a company they are the manufacturers of many brands you may of heard of and the MCB's are made exactly the same but with a different name ...
Square D
Merlin Gerin
Telemecanique
A lot of people don't realise the above are the same company... depending on generation some SQ-D you can remove the busbar prongs and be left with standard merlin mcb just marked up differently.
Back to OP yes Schneider is a high quality brand and has both safe external and internal isolation on their boards and the new range has a tripped status on their mcb's / rcbo's so you know if a fault was the cause but with quality comes cost so not the cheapest.
