Ok, here's one to throw out there - I need a 16A limited 1ph inverter that can take 16 generic 250Wp poly/mono panels on a SINGLE string BUT it can't be any wider than 335mm.....any ideas?

Solar Edge? SE3500 & 3680 are 315mm wide.

Yes, Steca was my first thought Jason, I've asked the client to check if the width restriction is absolute or if there's a little room for movement somewhere, cheers

Don't forget about the minimum air gaps around inverters for cooling/ventilation. Might also be worth considering something like Enphase micro inverters; nothing to house apart from an AC isolator.

Thanks Matt, fair point. Not to worry though, customer has decided to re-string the array and go with a P1 unit placed in a suitable location.
