So I popped in Screwfix and whilst waiting, I noticed lap GU10 led dimmable lamps ÂŁ6 each anyone used these yet on here

I bought one while I was in there the other day, at about ÂŁ9 or so. It is reasonably bright, however not as bright as the natural white ones I was installing in a kitchen. It is a warm white colour and very similar to 35W halogen, but probably not as bright as 50W. I also tried the Sylvania 6.5W they had and they are brighter than the Philips Master 6W LED.

Yep LED lights are still in their infancy could be worse I have seen a lot of those CFL GU10s and they are mince yet because they last for years and take 5 minutes to warm up they get left in and the tenant just gets used to it.

Also they are now getting a bit more honest as they used to say 11watt cfl = 60 watts now I see them with 11 watt =50 watts

I think they are 250 lumens
