Seaward Apollo 600 & Barcode Scanner

I've purchased a barcode scanner that is advertised on some testing web shops as suitable for the Apollo 600. However, i cannot get it to stay connected to my tester, as soon as i leave the setup it loses connection. When i go into a 'test' the barcode symbol at the top is crossed out. Latest firmware installed & cleared all previous bluetooth equipment.

Anybody able to help... other than stop being a tight arse and buy the mega expensive seaward version?!

Just a thought but are you saving the Bluetooth connection in the right box? There are 2 if I remember and you need to add and then save. Hopefully its a simple error like that. Have you been able to add anything else and do they stay connected.
