Hi guys,

went to view a rewire today, a house split into 2 flats. At some point southern electric have put an extra supply in downstairs. So 2 meters from the upstairs meter they have run another cable upstairs to a second cut out fuse both 100a. The tails are then directly out of fuse into consumer unit. I've never seen this before was wondering if anyone else had. I'm assuming the cable was installed by the DNO but the fact it's 2 100a one after the other makeshift wonder if some DIY lover has got hold of a bit of cable from his pal at southern electric.

Don't shoot the messenger! I asked at my last assessment as I'm sure most people have the same opinion as me and that was his reply. I suggest you take it up with your scheme providers
