DECC have kept this pretty quiet, but the deadline for responses is 5pm tomorrow - Tuesday.

It's only regarding the manner they publish weekly stats for the number and size of PV installations, and the reference date that they use for it.
They are proposing two options:
1. stop publishing the weekly stats and just continue with monthly ones
2. continue with weekly but switch from basing the data on commissioning date to registration date
They are asking:
i) What do you currently use these statistics for?
ii) Which of the two options do you prefer and why?
I use the weekly stats to try to predict the likely future degression changes, but as degression is based on registration date stats it is not that accurate. So changing to option 2 would be an improvement.
It is a separate matter that degression should be based on Eligibility Date as that actually controls what tariff an installation is paid, but that is not being consulted upon.
