security alarm in the midnight

Somewhere near my flat, security alarm started to ring around 11:30 pm and it still make
annoying sound for more than 2 hours.
Maybe that sound came from the next office building of my flat. Nobody will come untill the Wed.

What can I do?:mad2:

enviromental health department,they will call alarm people out & disconnect the system.

climb up a ladder to it & stuff it full of expanding foam.

Make sure that you're wearing a mask & nobody sees you doing it though !!

id pefer they caught criminals,phone the council they will diss it,they will charge the company or householder for doing it too..

I had the same thing oposite my house couple of years ago, an alarm was ringing for hours. Police did not want to know, could not get the council on phone,
Owners had gone on holiday so ladder out, SAB open and snip.

while I have done what you did on one occasion,it,s important to remember that you could be done for criminal damage or worse if the house was burgled.When I did it I told the neighbour that the council was going to get a firm out and they would get a big bill,so I did it as a favour to save them money,boy were they pleased.lol

Totally agree, on this occasion I had neighbours come out and clap me and i doubt the people away was going to do anything in this case as they know me and were horified to find out what happend. I take your point though.

I called police this morning and they told me that they only care about the secureness of the building, and suggested me to call council emergency call. I called to them, they told me they can't do anything until Wed.
That security alarm is screaming for 24 hours. That makes me crazy.

Is there any regulations that limit the operation duration of security alarm?

Put ladder up, knock offending item off the wall and stamp on the C U next Tuesday till it is dead or if you have rifle take the fooker out lol
