Hi,
I'm studying my level 2 Installations diploma, while volunteering 2 days per week with a local electrical firm. Looking to progress to get level 2 and 3 installations under my belt, and then consider options from there.
I'm posting here as I'm seeking a mentor. Someone who I could periodically exchange emails or maybe whatsapp with, or better still even have the occasional phone call, to pitch questions and seek advice about getting into the industry and which routes to choose / best practices to speed up my learning, value to customers/demand, and eventually my earning potential.
I'm aware that having a mentor can be a really valuable asset. I do already pick up advice from people I work with, study under and from friendly folks here on this forum, but it is rather piecemeal. I'm sure it would be better to have someone as a point of contact moving forwards, to inform the many decisions which lie ahead. Some kind of payment arrangement wouldn't be out of the question, I realise time is valuable.
Any responses appreciated.
