In essence its no more than an extension lead, at least its got RCD protection.

What's to complain about? It's RCD protected which it probably wouldn't be in 90% of DIY jobs....3-5 meters of lead won't help mind

What's wrong with it? The socket is pre-wired, it just needs the RCD plug fitting - just same as fitting a 13A plug. Are the public not allowed to fit mains plugs any more? Daz
