hi guys, wannabe sparky here looking for some insider knowledge
i know electricals is the trade for me and have been saving for several months to do a fast track 2330 C&G levels 2 and 3 NVQ course like the one here:
City & Guilds level 2 and 3 Total Electrician Training
but now I've staring seeing ads in the paper like this one, supposedly offering subsidised C&G training with employment at the end, which i'm tempted by because if its cheaper I could afford it sooner:
SunJobs - WANTED TRAINEE PLUMBERS & ELECTRICIANS
this particular ad had NICEIC, Milwaukee and Rigid logos at the top
what are the pros and cons of these two ways of training? anyone know if responding to this particular ad is a good or bad idea? might i become a slave to some evil electrical company who will pay me peanuts and lock me into a contract?
cheers guys, i appreciate your time.
