Discuss Self-employed can set mortgage costs against tax, says HMRC in the Talk Electrician area at ElectriciansForums.net

This is where a good accountant is worth their weight in gold. If you have a good "pro-active" accountant they should be earning their keep by keeping you informed of exactly what expenses are able to be off-set against tax. If you have an accountant make an appointment to discuss this with them. It could save you thousands of pounds.
