I tested a self test emergency lighting with three gears .While testing 2 of the gear doesn't passed 3 hour test but 1 Did Wit the same battery ?Why?

Yes three different units of same circuit design.First ans second failed duration at 150 mins as rated duration is 180,But the third one passed.First two also failed while trying with different battery. What cause that to happen? Please
If three separate units and you have tried different batteries then the faulty units are probably draining to much current.
Are the floro or LED.

I have replaced a few hundred old units over the last few years at work and we are now all LED.
We have dramatically reduced our fail rate.
