selv fan + transformer location.

Hi,

I need to change an existing bathroom fan to an selv version.

The easiest place to mount the transformer is in the drywall cavity, adjacent to the existing switch.

The cavity is 50mm thick, with space around it, but obviously isn't ventilated.

Is it safe to mount a transformer there?

Is this ground floor, then just put it outside the bathroom, up at high level above the door frame say in a nice box.

If it's on the 1st floor sling it in the loft

What kind of box can you get?
