sen sol50 mounting system

we have just done first install using sen sol50, does any body else have any coments on this system, as we had some issues with the so called simplicity, although to be fair it was on a Scotish slate roof with full sark boards and 40mm steel clout nails. in short what is the holy grail of mounting systems

The whole cross rail approach of it adds complexity and cost to the install, though it does look good!

A bit like halfords roof bars or thule aero roof bars on the car, both do the job, one looks better than the other!

Mmmm, you're not supposed to use Sol 50 on slate roof they don't have hooks for the slate .. we've used it a lot on tiled roofs and corrugated or trapeziod roofs but we use K2 from krannich for slate roofs.
