Hi All,

Im still waiting to hear back from Elecsa, but i thought i would ask to see if anyone has had this issue before. On the SSE's website ( SSE Power Distribution - Removal Of Fuses ) they say that only memebers of the ECA, Select, Napit and the NICEIC are allowed to remove service cut out fuses and obtain seals to re seal them. My question is, is Elecsa part of the ECA, and has anyone else managed to get hold of the seals before?
Thanks!

so do i, but they're not the same as the originals. better than nothing, i suppose.

I'm an Elecsa person and I've been to the Slough office of SSE to get temporary seals. They wanted to see my registration card and make a note of the number. Interestingly they didn't seem to want to know anything about why I wanted them!

I think that is the one nearest me (im in Ascot). Did you just turn up, or did you need to book in advance?

Hi PH_Electrical, My customer rang them to determine how they wanted me to approach turning his house off and he gave me a name and phone number.

The office in question is:

Primary Road
Spackmans Way
Chalvey
Slough
SL1 2UD

I'm reluctant to post the name I have but give them a call - I think they are open between 8.30 and 3.30

good luck
