shiplap tile battens

Can anyone help. I have shiplap tile battons 4" on my roof and the skyhooks won,t sit straight on them. is there another type of hook that may work

You will either have to notch out the close boarded battening and then fix to the rafter or pack up the wedge section to make the hanger (skyhook???) level. The latter method will raise the hanger up a lot and the use of lots of lead will be necessary. Either way you should make sure that the fixings go into the rafter and not just the boarding and both will probably need leadwork around the hanger.

the shiplap is only 15 mm the sky hook [hanger] will be up past the tiles very messy. can i use a lower profile hook. slate type maybe? the tiles are very flat and about 15mm
