Shop and House

Hey all, new to this so be gentle.

Recently looked at someone's house and flat electrical set up due to them wanting some work done.
The owner said he gets 2 seperate bills (one for house, one for shop) as there are 2 different DBS (again, one for house, one for shop)
However, when looking I could only see 1 electric meter. How then are 2 seperate bills possible? Have I overlooked a meter or...?

or......The DNO are getting info directly from the CIA spy satellite that's in a geostationary orbit above his house.

My other guesses would be either he's mistaken about two separate bills or there's another meter somewhere.

He may be on economy 7 and getting two values (night and day) and thinks it is for the two properties.
IF you can see the bills they would have different meter point reference numbers if there are two meters.
It is fairly common for one meter in a shop/flat arrangement, but then again so is two meters.
Just remember that the reader will need to get to them (occasionally) so they should be fairly obvious.
