shower cable

Hi,
Is it ok to use what was or will be the old shower cable and now use it for the bathroom lights, ext fan, etc, It will be put on a 6amp Mcb with a rcd and at the other end in to a fused spur with the correct fuse in place. The shower cable is 6mm then in to the fused spur then down cable size to1.5 mm out from there.

Be sure to check your volt drop tho if its a long run

Seriously tho, suggest you mark it up somehow at the board end to make it very clear what you`ve done - think of the next spark coming along to do a PIR When i`ve come across similiar i`d have appreciated that - sets you in a state of distrust for the remainder otherwise...

even presuming you`ll do the cert as 1.5mm/1.0mm, you can imagine the thought chain...

"okay, cct #6, lights up, 6mm, & 6mm!
