would you still have a fused spur (3 A ) as well as a 3pole isolator for a shower fan with timer .The fan is a in line in the loft ( supply from light fitting)

Instead of a 3-pole isolator,fit a switched fused spur for the supply
You then have double pole isolation and a 3-amp fuse
