Been asked to do a quote for an outbuilding.Outbuilding needs a shower (for dog grooming/washing) , sockets and light.
What i intend to do is run SWA from the old Wylex rewireable fuse board without RCD protection under the floorboards then bury the cable in the back yard to the outbuilding, this involves much concrete removal but thats life! The run is about 30m roughly.Supply is TN-S.Outbuilding is of a metallic nature.Height to peak around 2m,length around 4m.

A couple of things - Am i right in that there is no need to RCD protect the distribution circuit and that i can export the existing earth because it's TN-S? Obviously circuits in the outbuilding will be 30 ma protected.

Also, the shower. If i insist that it should have a have a permanent fixed partition then I can assume accessories are to be 'outside zones' greater than 0.6m from the tray? I'll use appropriate rated accessories anyway.

Any problems with that?

Sounds fine to me....You dont need to RCD the SWA, but if i'ts an all metallic building personally I would. Dont forget to bond the structure of the building and services.TNS earth is fine and you only need to run the bonding to the local db in the outbuilding .Yes more than 600mm from the tray is outside the zones but you need to take into account the likelyhood of water splashing and choose accessories accordingly.

Sockets should be more than 3 metres from edge of zone 0, unless they are SELV .

because there is a water service in there your cpc will need to be as big as your main earth at source

Would probs be easier not to export the earth and TT it instead. Armouring of swa needs earthing regardless of what you do. (edit - 2 core cable cheaper as well if not originally thinking of or using the armouring as the cpc)

Re a shower barrier - zone 2 will extend 0.6M along it, see page 71 of the OSG (don't know if that has any implications for the design)
