Shower Iso switch

I was called to look at a knackered shower today and as usual it was a fault on the Isolator switch, this has probably answered before but why is it nearly always that the neutral termination has burnt out?

I don't know why, but I've noticed the same thing. I thought it was just coincidence. Maybe there's something more to it...
