Hi all
I'm issuing a code 3 for shower without pull switch on eicr as I consider it to be isolated via Mcb in consumer unit, would anyone else agree

Before this debate gets going as it will, one question Buzz, What does the manufacturers instructions say?

Don't know because it's a condition report and I don't have any access to instructions, as far as am aware aslong as you are not in risk of burns and moving mechanical parts it's not code 2

IMO, code C3 is " improvement recommended". it doesn't contravene any regulation, so it's just your opinion as to whther or not you recommend improvement.

yes i would agree surely shower should have local isolation think code 3 is right

I wouldn't code it
