A company I have worked for has been signing my signature on NICEIC forms that I have never seen or completed, I have been submitting test results on the green sheets to the employer along with a list of defects if any have been found, if there are defects then the sheet is left uncompleted. The employer then transfers details onto the red NICEIC sheets and I never get to see them, and I am told by somebody in the office that my signature is being signed on these sheets for me. Does anybody have any experience of this or know what the implications are if any? Any advice on what to do about it or should I do anything?

Oh dear!

If you report this to the NIC you may well lose your job!
OTOH if you don't, you may lose your liberty if the brown stuff ever hits the fan.

Between a rock and a hard place, your call

find one of your employer's best customers and tell him that your sig. is being forged and you will not accept liability for the cert. that should put the boot up his arse.

Why not just politely tell your employer that you prefer them not to use your scanned signature and that you’re more than happy to personally sign any that require your attention. And just see what comes of it!

I would class this as fraud and would seriously consider legal advice as this is no different to phishing in my mind and as spark 68 says could land you in trouble if something goes wrong.

No one should sign your signature except you.

but what if they are deliberately omitting to enter faults, that the OP has found, on the fraudulent certificate?

The thing is, the company he works for is legally obliged to keep his records for a number of years. The company also must have a supervising officer that has to double check the certificate and cross reference the original to the one that is to be issued and counter sign that that has been done. Also, they are not allowed to use his signature without him have given them his consent in writing. If the fertilizer ever was to hit the fan they would be found solely responsible. The NIC will fine them big style if they find out about this.

I would report it to the police as this is fraud by them forging your signature.

With immediate effect use your phone to take a picture of all certs you do from here on in.
If that person who told you is trustworthy can they get to your old green ones for you to photo, or are they gone now?

I've been on the receiving end of this. A few years ago I found out I was registered at Companies House as Company Secretary of an outfit I was working for

Scan all your PIRs into your pc then email them, You ll have a copy of the original..
You ll easy ll prove there in the wrong....
You got the site copy and theres will have been done on easycert etc etc with a scanned sig :D

What are the forms, are they PIRs, EICs or MWEICs?
What's the difference between the green and red ones, why are they changing them?
You say the forms with defects are left incomplete by you, why is this, in what way are they incomplete, is it just your signature that is missing?
What about the completed forms, are these being changed from green to red, are they appending your signature to these and have you given them permission to do so?
Is it the case, that all the forms are changed from green to red, because the green ones are hand written, whereas the red ones are printed and your company only issues red forms?
Is it perhaps that they expect you to be signing all the forms, even the ones with defects, but they can't be bothered to pull you on this, or perhaps they haven't even noticed that you aren't signing them?
Has their process of issuing the forms been explained to you, perhaps it is their policy to issue all forms with signatures appended, rather than waste time having you come to the office to physically sign them?
Have you givven them permission to append your signature to any forms, or is permission perhaps implied, because it is their standard practice and it was explained to you when you were first employed and you agreed to the practice when you started?

My employer asked me about e-sigs and this was my concern and I did mention this to him, he understood completely and I sign my certs whenever I am in the office, he did say that the nic software has a password option on the signatures but we didn't see the point as it would save anytime!!
